Must available Mon-Thurs 2pm-7pm and Friday 12pm-7pm
Under the supervision of the Branch Manager and Teen Director, the Teen Coordinator has responsibility for the planning, implementation, evaluating and the delivery of an exciting and engaging teen program for youth ages 13 to 18.
JOB FUNCTION:
1. Plan, implement, supervise, and evaluate teen programs that increase youth attendance and participation and incorporate youth development principles.
2. Plan, implement, and supervise National Boys & Girls Club programs, such as: Keystone Club, Power Hour, and SMART Programs
3. Promotes and markets program to members and non-members, parents, and the school.
4. Manages necessary administrative functions and assigned resources.
5. Develops and fosters a positive climate.
6. Responsible for maintaining a safe and clean environment conducive to youth development by providing guidance to Club members and enforcing discipline.
7. Maintain and care for applicable equipment and supplies. 8. Other duties as assigned.
Job Type: Part-time, Non-exempt
Pay: $18.50 per hour
Schedule: Monday to Friday

Requirements:
The Teen Coordinator must have a minimum of two years’ experience. That experience should cover a wide variety of youth development programs, including the development, implementation, and the supervision of those programs. The Teen Coordinator must have experience with and enjoyment in working with teenagers. It is important that he/she knows and be able to demonstrate how to implement informal guidance.
