In this role you will report directly to the clinic manager. You will work alongside clinic management, administraion, faculty physicians and other clinical staff to include, MA’s and LVN’s. You will provide direct patient care for a diverse patient population. You will also coordinate and prioritize tasks, polocies and protocols established by the department.
Qualifications
- Posseses License issued by the state of California
- Possesion og BLS certification throught the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- Performs injections and other skills within the scope of practice
- Ability to take vital signs, administer medications and obtain drug refills as needed
- Knowledge of office procedure tray set up
- Knowledge of symptomatology of common and or life threatining medical problems
- Demonstrate proficiency in computer skills and ability to use computerized patient care systems
- Knowledge of all safety requirements when handling biohazardous specimens or contaminated instruments
- Interpersonal skills in maintaining a cooperative working environment with the Physicians, Staff and Management
- Verbal skills to effectively convey sensitive infromation in courteous manner or on the telephone
- Knowledge of all instruments and supplies to perform office procedures
