Salary Range:$68,700.00 To $77,367.36 Annually

Salary Range (final salary offer is based on a number of factors, such as certifications, experience, and more):
$68,700 to $77,367.36/year

$1,500 sign-on bonus after successfully completing 90 days

Shift Hours:  

Monday - Friday 7am – 4pm (with rotating on call support every other week, and additional hours as needed)

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalency
  • Bilingual in Spanish highly preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience supervising case management services OR,
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of previous experience in case management, providing domestic violence and /or sexual assault victim services.
  • Experience prioritizing clients’ needs in crisis situations
  • Completion of a 40-hour Domestic Violence Advocate training as mandated by the State of California, OES and Evidence Code 1037.1, - training will be provided within one month of hire.
  • Applicants with personal experience with Domestic Violence are encouraged to apply.
  • Participants in the County’s Department of Public Social Services Greater Avenues for Independence (GAIN) Program or General Relief Opportunity for Work (GROW) Program are encouraged to apply.
  • Requires the ability to independently use a computer, possess good communication/computer skills, have Microsoft Office skills, and learn necessary computer programs.
  • Must maintain a valid California driver’s license, insurance and driving record which complies with agency’s insurance carrier standards.
  • Must pass all applicable health, fingerprint/LiveScan and DMV clearances.

JOB PURPOSE:

The Program Supervisor – DV provides comprehensive support and supervision to DV shelter staff. In addition, this position also provides direct supportive services to adults and children who are impacted by domestic violence, as needed. The Program Supervisor – DV is responsible for assisting the Program Manager I - DV with development and implementation of case management services, overall shelter operations, and will be responsible for ensuring compliance with County, State, and Federal contracts including CalWORKS. The Supervisor helps ensure DV staff provide identified services to DV clients/families.

The Program Supervisor – DV is an energetic self-starter who is able to function comfortably in a team environment or independently and relates well to co-workers and County representatives. This position requires flexibility and the ability to manage time and multiple tasks with little supervision. The individual in this position must be able to assume a wide range of responsibilities, provide timely responses to requests and deadlines and works well under pressure.

WORK SCHEDULE: 

FLSA Status: Exempt – Full Time

Work-Week: Sunday - Saturday

  • Actual work schedule is subject to change as agreed with Direct Supervisor and based on business/program needs.

SUPERVISORY REQUIREMENTS:

Directly supervises DV Shelter case managers and volunteers.
