At Nusano, we are working to supply the fight against cancer by making rare and undersupplied medical radioisotopes available and abundant. Reporting to the Warehouse Operations Manager, the Material Handler & Receiving Specialist will be responsible for the daily material and receipt inspection activities at Nusano.
Responsibilities
What You'll Do:
- Perform shipping and receiving duties.
- Perform full receipt inspections, coordinate technical inspections, and site acceptance testing.
- Resolve material issues OSD&DWs (Overage, Shortage, Defective, Damaged, Wrong) at receipt inspection and communicate with purchasing, engineering, and inventory administrators to clear the receipt hold status.
- Perform directed put away after successful receipt inspection for materials ensuring they are properly put in the correct location, zone, rack, and bin.
- Coordinate facility-to-facility transfers.
- Conduct inventory cycle counts using the A, B, C inventory method with less than 5% variance for SOX requirements.
- Meet with functional groups to determine locations for their specific inventory items.
- Help in product handling and storage requirements to develop warehouse operations systems.
- Contribute to and enforce warehouse safety policies.
- Represent your site in all location supply chain team meetings to update the status of receipts, location transfers, and any other details.
- Solve warehouse-related issues and escalate as appropriate.
- Minor facility maintenance and repairs as assigned.
- Ensure that the facility is clean, organized, and safe for occupants.
- Operate forklift to support shipping and receiving duties.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
- 5+ years of material and receipt inspection experience in a warehouse role preferred.
- Safety-first mindset.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational, and follow-up skills.
- Ability to plan and prioritize work.
- Great interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Comfortable working within a fast-paced and fast-growing team.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Availability to travel to warehouse locations multiple times a year.
- Experience using EAM, WMS, ERPs.
Preferred Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree / Certificate in a supply chain-related field.
- Inventory, receipt management professional certifications.
- Experience using Epicor.
- Forklift certification.
- Ability to create, use, and understand inventory, and warehouse location reports.
- Light construction, electrical, or plumbing experience.
Physical Requirements:
- The ability to lift 25/50/80 pounds regularly.
- The ability to climb ladders while carrying items.
- The ability to wear personal protective gear correctly as needed.
- The ability to respond quickly to sounds. Ex. Forklift noise or other personal.
- The ability to operate machinery such as forklifts and heavy moving equipment.
Pay range: $30/hr - $34/hr
