Summary: We are seeking a Manufacturing Associate to join our team. This intermediate-level position involves working on moderately complex manufacturing tasks while gaining a solid understanding of general manufacturing processes. The role requires working on the first shift, from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional flexible hours (early or late start) and weekends.
Position Duties: Key responsibilities for the Manufacturing Associate include, but are not limited to:
- Tooling and masking parts
- Ultrasonic cleaning and washing of parts
- Intake and shipment of parts after processing
- Cutting stainless steel samples and preparing Labs sample Using Abrasive Wet Cutting
- Grinding and polishing samples
- Etching samples
- Performing other duties as assigned by the area supervisor, including rotating tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
Education & Experience:
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum of one year of manufacturing experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Work Environment & Safety Equipment Requirements:
- Ability to sit or stand for long periods
- Ability to lift, push, pull, or move up to 50 pounds or more with assistance
- Occasional lifting of up to 50 lbs
- Regular movement throughout the facility, including bending, reaching, and standing
- Required safety equipment includes safety glasses, shop coat/apron, and proper footwear
- Occasional exposure to shop elements such as noise, dust, odors, and fumes
