The Community Integration Program Instructor helps participants in the program learn the skills needed to be successful in the world of work and how to be great community members. Individuals with disabilities require increased support to learn how to be great workers and how to engage their community; you can help them find personal and professional success by instructing, coaching, role modeling and role playing how to be an excellent worker.
It is important for the CIP Instructor to be patient, creative, energetic and consistent. The schedule is typically Monday through Friday, business hours, but additional days or hours may be necessary/available. The CIP Instructor will typically drive either 2 or 3 participants to community locations to engaging in various vocational and leisure activities. Professionalism with participants, community members and local businesses is essential. Familiarity with Google Drive and basic technology skills are beneficial.

Position requirements: Valid drivers license, clean driving record and reliable transportation. Livescan required due to working with vulnerable populations. First aid/CPR will be required upon hiring and paid for by Pleasantview. Diploma or equivalent. Perfect job for college students, retirees or seniors!
