Job Description
Position Summary:
The Division Controller works with Corporate & Division Management and operating site personnel to improve visibility into operational performance through review, analysis, engagement with the operations and improving utilization of the PCC toolkit and application of PCC policies. They will also directly supervise the Division Accounting department. The position oversees all accounting operations to provide accurate financial information and ensure with all corporate, governmental, and regulatory policies. Position is responsible for accounting operations and processes for approximately 25 locations both domestically and internationally.
Essential Functions
- Lead accounting operations, including supporting financial statement preparation for all operating sites
- Review results of operating entities to ensure accurate financial reporting, both for internal corporate requirements and statutory audits of foreign locations
- Provide guidance and instruction to all operating sites for journal entries, financial transaction allocations and financial statement classification
- Coordinate, prepare and present regular training on new policies, effective financial processes
- Lead preparation of and responses to quarterly balance sheet reviews held by Corporate Finance for each site, sharing trends and process improvements to all sites
- Lead review of new corporate policies and determine applicability and effect on operating sites and implementation across the Division
- Ensure operating sites are meeting internal policy and regulatory requirements for physical verification of inventory and fixed assets
- Assist sites in new ERP implementations in ensuring underlying accounting records and subsidiary ledgers are clean and training is adequate
- Partner with operating sites and Corporate Finance to assess and drive most appropriate outcome for judgmental areas of accounting (e.g., bad debt, inventory valuation, various accruals/reserves)
- Assistance, tracking and oversight of high-profile projects across the Division, as required
- Manage and communicate financial calendar and monitor adherence to due dates
- May perform as interim controller at an operating site at any time
- Oversees monthly Division closing and consolidation process
- Special Assignments, as required by Division Management
- Conform with and abide by all regulations, policies, work procedures, and instructions.
- Conform with all safety rules and use all appropriate safety equipment
Qualifications
Education and Experience
- BS in Accounting or Finance (advanced degree or CPA preferred).
- Minimum 10 years financial experience in progressively responsible positions within global, multi-site/cultural manufacturing organizations, a demonstrated track record of accountability and achievement.
- Strong skills and knowledge of accounting theory, application of financial principles (GAAP) & Standard Cost Accounting.
- Proven ability to effectively manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines and commit to accuracy and attention to detail required.
- Knowledge and experience managing financial operations in a global, multi-site environment.
- Demonstrated track record of financial control and analysis within a complex manufacturing environment.
- Experience working with Oracle Hyperion business analysis tools
- Strong managerial presence that reflects a “hands-on”, participative, pro-active operating style.

For informational purposes only, the range for annual base salary for this role is $210,000 to $220,000 US Dollar (USD) Salaried based on a variety of factors. For informational purposes only, this role is eligible to participate in the Company’s Executive Bonus Plan, paid out up to 40% of the applicable annual base salary, based on the Company’s performance in the prior calendar year. Employees will receive 120 hours paid time off every year. Employees will also receive 10 paid holidays. Employees (and their families) are eligible to participate in the company's medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance. Employees are eligible to enroll in the Company’s 401(k) plan.
The position will be eligible to participate in the Company’s Long-Term Incentive Program
