Assisting IT Manager with addressing all employee IT requests
• Assists with computer hardware and software configuration, installation, and
• Supports IT Manager with new user setup, accounts, and password issues
• Use network monitoring tools to ensure optimal performance and troubleshoot any issues
• Troubleshoots issues with copiers and printers
• Troubleshoots audio, video, and web conferencing problems
• Assists employees with technology related device issues (i.e. smart phones, tablets, etc.)
• Assists with maintenance of all internal company software
• Assists with maintaining licenses and upgrade schedule once a month
• Responsible with updating IT log
• Assists IT Manager with Shipping related software and hardware
• Assists IT Manager with administrating CRM
• Once a month, perform nightly hardware and software updates
• Reports to the IT Manager
• Other duties assigned by management
Associate’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, and/or 3+ years’ experience in an IT support environment
• Certification in (CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+) preferred
• Strong understanding of networking protocols, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN
• Proficient in installing, configuring, and troubleshooting Windows and Mac Operating Systems
• Excellent organizational & prioritization skills and great attention to detail
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to sit, stand, squat, and crawl into spaces as needed for long period of time
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to adapt to temperatures outside the normal range while adhering to OSHA approved policies and procedures
